Our handmade plant based salve prevents and heals dry hands. All of our all natural skincare products are handmade in a small batch in our farm kitchen. The process starts by collecting calendula flowers from the garden and infusing in sunflower oil for 6-8 weeks. The oil absorbs the naturally derived herbal properties during this time. We then blend with ethically sourced natural ingredients including beeswax, shea butter, and essential oils.
The salve can be used on all skin types, including sensitive skin. You can easily slip the eco friendly tin into a bag, pocket, or first aid kit. Although semi-solid at room temperature, salves soften once applied to the skin.

Is sunflower oil good for skincare?
Sunflower oil contains several skin loving compounds including oleic acid and vitamin E.
Our sunflower oil comes from Century Sun Oil, in Pulaski Wisconsin.

Beeswax is a natural humectant. It helps your skin attract and retain moisture. When used in a lotion bar it locks in all the oils and prevents the wind from chaffing your skin.
Why do you infuse herbs in your oil?

The oils are skin safe and can be blended with all natural ingredients to create nourishing skincare products.

Honey Down Farms has won me over!! Their soap is . Leaves my skin moisturized, enough lather that I can shave with it. Stopped at their booth this morning at the farmers market and they’re so friendly, gave us the best tip for their shower steamers, instead of tossing it in the shower- put it in a little mesh bag and it will last 3-4 showers!
I bought one a few months ago and recently purchased more as holiday gifts.
I LOVE both the lotion and all the soaps that I purchased from Honey Down Farms. They feel great on my skin and fragrance is subtle and pleasant. I am a new customer but will be a frequent one!
Great deals on great products!
